The Energizer Keep Going® Award Process and Rules
Eligibility
There’s a little bit of the Energizer Bunny® in all of us. All it takes to be considered for a spot in the Energizer Keep Going® Hall of Fame is an energetic spirit and unwavering determination and the drive to make a positive impact on the world. We want to hear stories of people from age 2 to 102 with Energizer Bunny® attitude. You can nominate anyone - your friend, your mom, even yourself! Be sure to send in your nomination before the deadline of February 4, 2011.
Prizes
The Inductee of the 2011 Energizer Keep Going® Hall of Fame will receive a trip for 2 to St. Louis, Missouri in June 2011 to be inducted into the Energizer Keep Going® Hall of Fame and a $10,000 cash prize plus an additional $5,000 donation to his or her favorite charity.
The cherry on top? The 2011 Energizer Keep Going® Hall of Fame Inductee will be honored at a very special awards ceremony in St. Louis with National Baseball Hall of Famer and Energizer Keep Going® Hall of Fame Inductee, Cal Ripken, Jr.
And the top 10 Finalists will each receive a $1,000 donation to a charity of the Finalist’s choice and a flip camcorder to help in their campaign efforts to become the 2011 Energizer Keep Going® Hall of Fame Inductee.
Judging
To be considered as a member of the Energizer Keep Going® Hall of Fame, nominees must have a story of making a positive impact on the world. Their story must exhibit the same extraordinary spirit, determination, humor and courage as the Energizer Bunny®. Each nomination will be judged against the fast-paced example of our favorite pink pal. Read Official Rules.
All eligible entries will be judged by a panel of judges under the supervision of the contest administrator on the basis of the following criteria:
- Appropriateness to contest theme 40%
- Sincerity (Credibility) 40%
- Clear expression of ideas in essay 20%
The top scoring one hundred (100) essays judged using the above judging criteria will be deemed Semifinalists, from which the 10 Finalists will be chosen. No prizes will be awarded for having achieved Semifinalist status. Prize awarded to nominee.
